Our lovely Moulin is situated in its own grounds outside the village of Chambroutet, off the D748, but only 6kms north of Bressuire where all local amenities can be found including the obligatory cafes/bars and restaurants. So whether you are passing through, taking a longer break or looking for somewhere to stay while you househunt you are assured a warm welcome for whatever the length of your stay!

The house is built around the tower of an old Moulin with accommodation being mainly at ground floor level. Lavande is a double room with its own ensuite facilities comprising shower/basin/wc and has tea/coffee making facilities. It has french windows to a small terrace at the rear of the house which benefits from the evening sun and table and chairs are provided. Jasmin is our other double room again with its own ensuite facilities comprising shower/basin/wc and tea/coffee making facilities and the room incorporates easy chairs. This room is also available as a family room with the addition of bunkbeds/cot. Vanille is a twin bedded room situated in the sous-sol and again has its own shower room with shower/basin/wc and tea/coffee making facilities. Weather permitting breakfast can be taken on any one of four terraces or in the large family kitchen. We also offer Table d'hotes at a cost of €16 per person. This will include aperitif, entree, plat de jour, fromage, dessert and cafe and of course wine! We now have WIFI access for those that perhaps just can't get away from it all....

Places of Interest

Whatever your idea of rest and relaxation is there is something for everyone in this beautiful area - whether you want to walk/cycle/fish/horse-ride etc.etc. it can all be found very close at hand. But for those who may prefer more restful days there is a wealth of historic towns and villages each with their own charms eg: Parthenay, Thouars, St-Loup-sur-Thouet. And of course there are the Chateaux of the Loire - Saumer being only about 45 minutes and Futuroscope at Poitiers is about 1 hours drive. Truly \\\'A Department to discover'!
